Top Searches on 2008 Election
Nov 05
As most have been watching this historic election I always find it interesting to look how the web is effecting our decisions, what we search for and how we find out answers to the question we may have pertaining to the election of 2008.
I heard this morning, on NPR, that one reason Obama won was because he used so many resources that was at his reach – one being the Internet. In the past most politicians have used the internet as an ATM machine rather than a rally point but this year was different. Obama and McCain both used the internet as a main stream for non-supporters and supporters alike to find infomation about thier top issues, their plans, their thoughts and of course a way to donate to their campaign.

Very little, IMHO!! Sure, most people do some searching through the net, but most of my information came from the news. Very good coverage this year.
Tom Straders last blog post..IP Cameras – Are you ready?
@ Tom Strader – Thanks for the comment! I agree with you to the point that there was very good coverage this year but analytics are showing that people are using search and the internet for a information gateway more than ever. i.e – Youtube for watching debates, etc.
