Google Lively Shutting Down in December

Google always works hard to create up-to-date, free, powerful applications, tools, and gadgets for its users and that is why they stay on top time and time again. In July Google launched a ‘different kind of application, Lively. I never got into Lively but it looks to be pretty cool and kinda sad that Google is having to shut it down.

It’s Official, Lively will be shutting down on December 31, 2008. After that date users will no longer have access to enter or interact with their Lively rooms. Users with embedded rooms in blogs and other web pages will continue to show a image but will also be inactive. Google is encouraging users to capture their hard work by screen shots and videos and share any work they feel particular proud of

Lively, Free Avatar and Chat

Basically Lively gave you the opportunity to create your on personal virtual space, customize your own avatar with photos & video, and decorate the room you create to express yourself.
